Brief
Graham & Rosen required a full desktop PC, server and network upgrade to provide their staff with a speedier system and allow a faster turnaround of work to clients. The solution included the implementation of a network fax system (Equisys Zetafax), terminal services for remote users, 60 PCs and 4 servers, running Exchange, Windows 2003, ISA Server and Progress for their Videss Legal Office case management system).
Solution
Intrasource put together a project team consisting of the client sponsor, the client IT administrator and an Intrasource project manager, server team leader and desktop team leader. The project team spent two months gathering information on the current system and it’s use & configuration & planning the project. Over 60 PCs & 4 servers across 2 sites were rolled-out in one weekend, with a team of post-implementation engineers onsite to ensure minimal disruption and a fast start-up for staff. Once the project was completed, Intrasource provided Graham & Rosen with a fully outsourced IT service desk from the Intrasource Support Centre, providing both desktop support and server support.
