JSR is a big operation, involving different farming disciplines and across many sites covering a large geographical area. As such its IT consumption and requirements are complex and constantly evolving as the business grows and develops.
To manage these needs, it became clear that the most logical and efficient thing to do would be to employ the services of a third-party IT support company, to support and enhance the internal IT team.
The task was to find a provider that had the skillsets and the resources to be able to service our everyday IT needs, but that was also willing to work collaboratively and flexibly to respond to our different and changing requirements. We also needed a provider that could effectively monitor our infrastructure remotely and provide a 24/7 service. Downtime is costly for a business like ours and we needed to put in place all the measures we could to avoid it as much as possible.
